In the morning November 14th 2013, the Vocational College of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province held a grand opening ceremony of the training course of 400 technicians who are expected to work in the supporting industries in the province.

The two-year course is implemented under the industrial promotion program of training 1,000 technician workers in the period 2012-2015 for supporting industries. Mrs. Tran Thi Huong, Director of Department of Industry and Trade and leaders from other relevant departments, leaders from Center of industrial promotion and industry development consultancy together with teaching staff and students attended the ceremony.
In this school year, there are 10 classes, in which 08 classes focus on metal cutting and 02 classes focus on mechatronics. After the course, students will be granted with a vocational certificate stipulated by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs. They are also able to sit an exam in order to obtain a vocational certificate issued by Japanese government and are granted with the Japanese language certificate N5. As a result, graduates will have more opportunities to work in Japanese invested companies or work in Japan.
The training cost for one student in the course is VND 30 million, of which 65% will be paid by the provincial budget, and the rest by students who can loan from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies – Ba Ria Vung Tau branch.
