Industrial clusters 2013 - 2020

In the period of 2013-2020: 15 industrial clusters will be omitted from the industrial plan of Ba Ria Vung Tau Province

In October 2013, the Department of Industry and Trade have completed the Decision draft about adjustment of development plan of industrial clusters in Ba Ria Vung Tau Province in the period from 2013 to 2020. The draft will be submitted to the provincial People’s Committee after the comments from other departments and local government have been given.

Da Bac clusters

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the number of industrial clusters will be reduced from 29 to 14 in the period of 2013-2020 with the total area of 564ha. Specifically, there are 05 industrial clusters in Tan Thanh District with the area of 206ha; 02 industrial clusters with the area of 105ha in Chau Duc district; 03 industrial clusters with the area of 100ha in Ba Ria City; 01 industrial cluster with 40ha in Vung Tau City; 01 industrial cluster with 43ha in Long Dien district, 01 industrial cluster with 50ha in Dat Do district; and 01 industrial cluster with 20ha in Con Dao district. Consequently, there are 15 industrial clusters with the total area of 959ha which will be omitted from the plan.

At present, there are 15 industrial clusters which have been developed with the total area of 754ha and the implemented capital of VND 568 billion, namely Hac Dich 1, Hac Dich 6, Toc Tien 2, Boomin Vina, Hong Lam, Ngai Giao, Da Bac 1, Da Bac 2, Da Bac 3, Da Bac 4, An Ngai, Tam Phuoc 1, Hoa Long, Phuoc Thang, Ben Dam.
