Incentives for “Reliable Exporters”
The selection of “Reliable Exporters” is an annual trade promotion activity conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade since 2004. This selection has received wide support of Ministries and enterprises, creating a reliable focal point for enterprises searching for business opportunities, especially for the foreign enterprises while searching for Vietnamese export partners.
On the 15th of April, 2013, Ministry of Industry and Trade published the list of “Reliable Exporters” of 2012-2013 including 280 enterprises exporting rice; coffee; rubber; black pepper; cashew; tea; vegetables and fruits; meats and foodstuff; fishery; wood products and furniture; textiles and apparels; footwear; handicrafts & ceramics; plastic products; glass and glass products, mobile phones and accessories; cameras, video cameras and accessories; computers, electrical and electronic components; electrical wires and cables; construction materials; mechanical products; pharmaceutical and medical devices,….In the list, there are 08 enterprises located in Ba Ria Vung Tau province, namely Cao Su Ba Ria Co., Ltd., Thao Nguyen Co., Ltd., Hai Viet Corporation, Phu Quy Co., Ltd., Mai Linh Co., Ltd., Con Dao Seaproduct Import-Export Joint stock company, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Seafood processing and import-export joint stock company, Vung Tau OSV Co., Ltd. To recognize the efforts of the Vietnamese exporter communities in the contribution to the significant growth of Vietnam’s export turnover and to promote Vietnamese exporters to foreign enterprises, MOIT have conducted the following supporting activities to reliable exporters: - To place their banners on the electronic information portal of MOIT and that of participating authorities free of charge - To use the logo of the selection free of charge. - To be prioritized to participate in national trade promotion programs such as market survey, seminars, trade fair, trade forum that are organized by MOIT. - To receive the monthly reports of exports markets, exports items issued by the Center of Industrial and Trade Information free of charge. -To attend e-commerce seminars organized by MOIT for free of charge. - To be introduced to foreign companies via MOIT. - For those who are Reliable Exporters in 2012-2013, the scheme of VAT refund first, inspection later will be applied. At present, the selection of Reliable Exporters is in the 10th year. The MOIT keeps cooperating with Ministries and lines, , Department of Industry and Trade of Provinces and Cities under the Central Government, Industrial Associations and related authorities to select the “2013 Reliable Exporters”.
